There have been strong rumours that Ramsey is on the verge of agreeing a move to Turin with his Arsenal contract expiring this summer.
That means the Welshman is allowed to talk to foreign clubs about a summer move though it’s been reported that Ramsey could join Juventus this month.
Juve do already have a strong midfield, featuring the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi.
And Allegri has eluded to that strength and mentioned that he doesn’t feel the need for additions.
“I can already rely on five top midfielders,” Allegri said.
“They are so good that I need nobody.”
There were plenty of discussions between Ramsey and Arsenal surrounding a new deal before the club pulled out of talks.
And former Gunners star Paul Merson has blamed former boss Arsene Wenger for letting Ramsey leave.
“It’s stupidity from Arsenal to allow someone of Ramsey’s quality to let their contract run down,” he told Sky Sports.
“It’s yet another player after Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott.
“Players’ contracts come to an end then they all leave on frees.
“In footballing terms, it’s criminal.
“It’s like buying an £80m house, waiting for the leasehold to run out and losing the house.
“Arsene Wenger sorted out his contract every year but seemed to forget everyone else’s!
“I wouldn’t mind if all these players were 35 years of age or older.
“But they are in the prime of their careers when they are playing their best football ever.”
