England World Cup squad predicted: Burnley and Arsenal outsiders to make 23-man party
England manager Gareth Southgate will reveal his final 23-man World Cup squad tomorrow, with plenty of hopefuls still in with a chance of making the plane to Russia.
The Three Lions boss has a goalkeeping dilemma with experienced stopper Joe Hart and reliable Burnley ace Nick Pope both pushing for a spot alongside Jordan Pickford and Jack Butland.
Meanwhile, a number of potential tourists including Joe Gomez, Nathaniel Clyne, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Harry Winks and Daniel Sturridge have all been ruled out due to injury.
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere will have seen his chances of selection improve with so many absentees, but team-mate Danny Welbeck and exciting prospect Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be among those left at home with just 23 spots available.
