Fantasy Premier League tips: Biggest transfer ins and outs ahead of FPL GW9 | Football | Sport
Fantasy Premier League transfers are flying through ahead of Gameweek 9 with several international break injuries wreaking havoc among line-ups.
Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has been the go-to superstar this season and continues to pour into new teams every week.
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has also made a big impression in 2018/19 ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
However, Mohamed Salah’s underwhelming form and injury for Egypt against Swaziland has caused another wave of transfers out.
Express Sport has rounded up the most transferred in and out players ahead of Gameweek 9:
OUT – 5. Lucas Moura (Tottenham): 108,510
The Spurs man enjoyed a patch of excellent form at the start of the season but he has stalled in recent weeks.
OUT – 4. Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace): 110,460
Palace’s main man picked up an injury over the international break and is a doubt to face in-form Everton.
OUT – 3. Sadio Mane (Liverpool): 112,004
Many would have been tempted to stick with Mane through the upcoming favourable fixtures despite his lack of points recently, but injury has proven to be the final straw.
OUT – 2. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool): 168,971
The price tag is simply too heavy for Salah owners to bear any longer and they’re running away in droves.
OUT – 1. Jose Holebas (Watford): 262,058
A two-point haul in his last four games combined have cost Holebas thousands of owners. He is also suspended for a game after five yellow cards.
IN – 5. Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton): 139,696
Sigurdsson has lacked consistency but he has enjoyed a great start to the season and fans are backing him to continue that.
IN – 4. Callum Wilson (Bournemouth): 191,242
Goals and assists are flowing for the Bournemouth man. His low price tag is drawing in the punters.
IN – 3. Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal): 201,093
The Arsenal striker has been racking up massive points on a consistent basis this season.
IN – 2. Eden Hazard (Chelsea): 211,986
Still the player to own in Fantasy Premier League. A top captaincy choice and all-round ‘must-have’.
IN – 1. Matt Doherty (Wolves): 344,643
The bargain defender has produced big numbers in recent weeks and a goal has sparked a mass scramble for his name in the line-up.
