Liverpool news: Reds fans can't agree as new PURPLE away kit is 'leaked'
The Reds’ new second kit is due to be unveiled to the public on Wednesday morning at 9am.
However, numerous photographs have surfaced on social media with Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Joe Gomez all modelling the violet number.
And some sports outlets in Ireland have reportedly had to pull stock off their shelves after accidentally releasing the shirts a day early.
The main colour of the top is said to be called ‘deep violet’.
It also includes orange trim and an orange club badge, sponsors and logos.
But after leaked images appeared, fans took to social media to discuss their thoughts and it’s safe to say opinion is split over the leaked images.
One fan was in favour, writing: “Lovely kit – Will be purchasing.”
While one said: “That looks awesome. I think I’m the only red that like New Balance and doesn’t want Adidas or Nike.”
And another added: “I honestly love it.”
But not all fans on Merseyside were in agreement.
One wrote: “One of the worst.”
And another agreed, saying: “Terrible, absolutely terrible, who came up with that!”
While one supporter said: “Awful. Worse than warrior brand. Just gross.”
Liverpool already launched their new home kit for 2018/19 back in April.
Jurgen Klopp’s side wore against Brighton on the final day of the Premier League season.
