Liverpool transfer news: Barcelona to offer shock Mohamed Salah swap deal – report
Salah, 25, has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga in recent months.
The Egypt international has been tipped to join Barcelona or Real Madrid this summer in a blockbuster deal.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Barca are willing to offer a mammoth swap deal to land Salah this summer.
They say Nou Camp transfer chiefs are willing to offer £88m (€100m) AND Barca goalkeeper Cillessen.
Don Balon add that Salah is seen as an alternative to Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, who looks set to snub a move to Barca this summer.
Salah is said to be open to heading to the Nou Camp in the coming weeks, while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also a big admirer of Cillessen.
Klopp is keen to land a new No 1 this summer, especially following Loris Karius’ horror show in the Champions League final against Real Madrid last month.
Barca goalkeeper Cillessen, who joined the Spanish giants in 2016 from Ajax, made just nine appearances this season under Ernesto Valverde.
Salah was sensational for Liverpool this season, with the Egypt star netting 44 goals in all competitions for the Reds.
The winger has declared himself fit to play in the World Cup in Russia this summer after injuring his shoulder in the Champions League final against Real.
Salah clashed with Real captain Sergio Ramos, with the Spain defender dragging the Liverpool talisman to the floor.
