Liverpool transfer news: Divock Origi reveals why he wants to STAY at Anfield
Origi spent the campaign at Wolfsburg though managed just seven goals in 36 appearances.
He spent a chunk out of the starting XI as Wolfsburg struggled, eventually avoiding relegation after a play-off.
That poor form meant Origi has missed out on the Belgium squad for the coming World Cup.
But the 23-year-old wants to be revitalised at Liverpool and knows manager Jurgen Klopp can help him.
“Many times after a game, I get the feeling that I have not done enough, I should have done better,” he told NTV in Nigeria.
“Of course there is room for improvement.
“I have worked under several coaches and wish to appreciate each one of them.
“Jurgen Klopp though has helped me improve, he knows how to push you into performing, he knows exactly what should happen.”
Origi last featured for Liverpool on the opening day of the season, coming on as a late substitute at Watford.
The Belgian was signed for £10million from Lille after a successful World Cup, though he was loaned straight back to the French side.
He struggled in the 2016-17 season though, netting just seven goals in the Premier League and was loaned out last season.
Klopp may see Origi as a potential squad member, with Danny Ings used as back-up to Roberto Firmino as Liverpool were beaten in the Champions League final last month.
