Man Utd transfer news: Barcelona agree personal terms for PSG star Adrien Rabiot – report
Manchester United have already made three signings under Jose Mourinho this summer, but are in the market for another midfielder.
Although Michael Carrick retired and Marouane Fellaini has signed a new deal, Mourinho has earmarked making another acquisition in that department.
Reports suggested last week that Arsenal are also sniffing around Rabiot.
But Spanish paper Sport claim Barcelona look likely to win the race to sign him.
Barca are looking for a replacement for Andres Iniesta who left the club at the end of last season.
The report indicates that the player wants to move to the Nou Camp and personal terms are thought to have been agreed.
It is said that PSG think they can sell the 23-year-old for £35m.
Rabiot is out of contract at the end of next season and it was previously suggested that he was unhappy with the way the French giants treated him after his World Cup snub by France.
Tottenham have also been tracking his signature with Mauricio Pochettino keen to get new players through the door before the start of the season.
Manchester City have been credited with an interest, although they have also been eyeing a deal for Napoli star Jorginho.
