Harry Maguire swoop?
06:00: Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in taking England defender Harry Maguire to Old Trafford, according to reports.
And the Red Devils could tempt Leicester into selling the centre-back with a huge offer.
Maguire starred for England at the World Cup, scoring against Sweden as the Three Lions reached the semi-finals for the first time since 1990.
It came after a stunning first season for Leicester, who he joined from Hull for £17million last summer.
Maguire’s value has now rocketed and the Daily Mail report that Manchester United may have to fork out £50m to tempt Leicester into a deal.
Mourinho is keen to improve his defence with Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones and Daley Blind all struggling last season while Eric Bailly has been plagued by injuries.
Adrien Rabiot blow
05:00: Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly set to miss out on a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot.
Manchester United have already made three signings under Jose Mourinho this summer, but are in the market for another midfielder.
Although Michael Carrick retired and Marouane Fellaini has signed a new deal, Mourinho has earmarked making another acquisition in that department.
Reports suggested last week that Arsenal are also sniffing around Rabiot.
But Spanish paper Sport claim Barcelona look likely to win the race to sign him.
The report indicates that the player wants to move to the Nou Camp and personal terms are thought to have been agreed.
Daley Blind switch
04:00: Manchester United could complete a deal to sell Daley Blind back to Ajax by Monday.
Blind barely featured for United last season, making just seven Premier League appearances and started only once in the English top-flight after a 2-0 win over Leicester on August 26.
He was not in the 18-man squad for the FA Cup final against Chelsea either, with Ashley Young preferred to him at left-back by Jose Mourinho for the rest of the season.
Blind joined the Red Devils from Ajax for £13.8million in the summer of 2014 and it is likely that the 28-year-old will now return to the Eredivisie giants.
Ajax, according to De Telegraff, want to sign the defender before United jet off to the United States for a pre-season tour on Monday.
