Liverpool cemented their place at the top of the table with an impressive win over Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Wembley in the lunchtime kick-off.
Chelsea found themselves 1-0 down to Cardiff but hit back thanks to a Eden Hazard hat-trick and are second in the order.
Bournemouth’s entertaining 4-2 win over Leicester is the third match on the schedule.
Then Manchester United’s away win over high-flying Watford is next up.
Champions Manchester City are only the fifth match on the order despite a convincing win over Fulham, including a first goal of the season for Leroy Sane.
Newcastle’s poor form continued with a defeat to a resurgent Arsenal and that’s the penultimate match of the show.
And Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win over Huddersfield concludes the programme.
Match of the Day starts on BBC One at 10.20pm and is due to finish at 11.45pm.
