Who will win vote as Fifa's best soccer player in world in 2018 out of 10 nominees?
Soccer’s world governing body, Fifa, has announced a shortlist of 10 candidates for The Best Fifa Men’s Player for 2018 – just weeks after France won the Fifa World Cup 2018 in Russia.
The winner of the award, which attempts to recognise the “extraordinary achievements” of soccer players over the past season, will be announced on September 24 at a ceremony held in London.
The winner will be decided by votes taken from the following four groups, with equal weighting (25 per cent) given to each:
Meet Kylian Mbappé, France’s teen soccer star
The captains of all national soccer teams
The head coaches of all national teams
A fan ballot that the public can participate in
A group of about 200 members of the international media
In no particular order, here are the 10 soccer internationals in with a chance of winning this year’s award.

He was a nuisance for opponents from the first game to the last, and certainly deserved the Silver Ball award.
Achievements in 2018: FA Cup winner with Chelsea, third-place with Belgium at World Cup, winner of World Cup Silver Ball (as tournament’s second-best player) and also joint-top for assists in Russia.

Raphaël Varane , defender – Real Madrid and France
Raphaël Varane is the only player on this list to have won the two biggest trophies in soccer within weeks of each other.
There were more crucial players in Real Madrid’s Champions League success in Europe, but France’s ability to conquer the world could perhaps not have been done without the assured nature of Varane’s performances in defence.
