World Cup 2018: Ian Wright and Roy Keane kiss and make up after ITV studio spat
IAN WRIGHT and Roy Keane cleared the air over a drink after their World Cup spat – and even hugged at the end of the night
England hero Wright and Manchester United legend Keane traded verbal blows live on air minutes after England crashed out of the World Cup.
No-nonsense Keane even warned Wright to “watch yourself” after the former Arsenal striker appeared to mock his Irish accent on ITV.
And after coming off air it appears emotions were still running high when the production team made their way back from the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Fans spotted Wright and Keane arriving back at their hotel, and making their way into the bar area.
They claim the atmosphere was frosty between the duo, who had tried to laugh off their spat in the studio with Gary Neville caught in the middle.
Keane does not drink alcohol, but he stayed with Wright to chat for a short while and eventually the pair looked to have ironed out their differences.
One supporter said: “When they arrived, there seemed to be a bit of tension between them both at first and they looked in a serious mood.
“But with others there around them, gradually the atmosphere changed and in the end they were laughing and joking together.
“When Ian went to leave he walked up to Roy to say goodbye and they gave each other a bit of a bear hug. There were definitely no hard feelings.”

The duo clashed when Keane criticised England for believing they were already in the World Cup Final before their clash with Croatia, which ended in a 2-1 defeat.
Keane said: “Everyone was talking about the final, about football coming home.”
Wright interrupted: “What you talking about. We wasn’t talking about the final, we were having a laugh.
“We were happy. You weren’t happy for us being final.”
Keane snapped back: “I don’t mind you being happy, but you were getting carried away.
“You were getting carried away, planning the final, where the parades were.”
Wright: “No we weren’t! Why shouldn’t we be excited!”
The two then continue to argue and talk over each other, with Keane eventually saying: “You’re a grown man, you know how hard it is to get to a final.”
